Editor's review

This software tool helps convert several files generated by Quicken into CSV file.

This is a tool that helps export the files generated by Quicken such as QIF, OFX, QFX, OFC, QBO, ASO, QBX to CSV. These are the files that record various kinds of financial transactions including bank transactions, credit card transactions and Investment activity, etc. When you need to do any additional processing beyond what Quicken can do, you need to export these transaction data for further processing. CSV or the comma separated value file is a standard that can be imported by most applications. Thus data could be easily imported by the application you need to use. Quicken is a personal financial package that can stay in touch with your bank accounts, sort out all your expenses according to categories, make budgeting simple and let you get your financial picture at a glance.

The interface to the tool is simple so that most users will be able to grasp how to operate it very quickly. All you need to do is to point out the source file. The utility will let you review the file and make sure that’s the one you want. You then save it, saving the file in the CSV format. This applies to all the types of files generated by Quicken, namely QIF, OFX, QFX, OFC, QBO, ASO, QBX, etc. You would be able to combine multiple files into one CSV files, if you so desire. The utility offers a command line mode so that conversions can be automated. The trial version works the same as the full version except only 100 records can be converted. This is a good tool and a handy one.
